Seemingly, the previous two residents of my house have forgotten to notify a few people that they've moved. Over the last year I've received a fair few odds and sods in the packages and letters meant for them. Surprisingly, most of the items are mail order purchases. You'd think they'd check the delivery address before handing over their cash!
Currently my "Other people's mail collection" consists of:
~ A fishing licence and membership card
~ 4 Rock Ballard CD compilation albums
~ 6 hardcore porn DVD's
~ A small, art deco clock
~ 3 HP printer cartridges
~ A cat flea collar
~ A Beginners Guide to Yoga book
~ Some rather dull holiday photos
Now, I'm far too much of a bastard to give it all back to it's rightful owners and the enjoyment from getting mystery packages far outweighs the effort of letting senders know the intended recipients have moved, but I'm interested in knowing what other people would do in this situation!
Would you be bad and keep the stash, flogging the unwanted items on eBay like I do?
Or would you be good and do the right thing?

So you : -
- are cruel to fish
- listen to horrible cheesy music
- Have a flea infested house
- Are a bit of a yuppy
- Go on holiday to Blackpool?
I don't think you deserve your personal effects back 😉

i printed off a load of stickers saying 'not at this address - please return to sender' and just slap 'em on anything for previous residents (who were too stupid to leave me forwarding addresses) and bung 'em back in the mail.
but your illegal approach is interesting too.
