So do aged parents and grandparents, but I wouldn't dream of kicking them to the curb.
"...that reminds me of the time we were in france during the war. me and four other guys met these two leggy french girls, who were satanists and into group sex. now, fred had some opium left, and... ... ...and so the goat was given back to the villagers, and they agreed to not to burn the wooden leg. oh boy, those were the times."

It's as I suspected -- dogs are not only man's best friend, they also improve your health better than any stinky cat can:

The stories of hero-dogs that have given up their lives to save not only their owners, but total strangers are numerous and legendary. Why dogs love people in spite of themselves is the mystery. They truly are a gift from heaven, and I'm sorry you have not experienced the love of a dog, you are the poorer for it.
dogs are stupid, smell bad, drool and need constant care. I can live without that.

I always told my dad if I ever was venomous snake bit I guess I would have to take my chances with the snake venom. I know I would die from the doctor's bill. Your vet solution does not help me. Those dogs are not a bunch of little von Shepherdlords.
It's not the dogs and the cats that are the root of the problem. It's the irresponsible pet owners. Our vet will spay/neuter feral cats for free if they are brought in in a proper carrying case. It has made a noticeable difference. You don't see nearly as many of them around here compared to the years past.
