I'll respond in kind. Usually my cavalier attention span goes from: (1) New topics of which I am either painfully ignorant or have a continuing interest. (2) Posts from players I've already learned from in the Forums and have come to respect. (3) Opponents past or present I've come to know across the board (and globe) and happen to care about. (4) Any responses to my own questions or comments posted (though not always able to remember where or how to find them). (5) On particularly quiet nights sometimes peruse open invitation profiles.
Realize it may be virtual and silent in some theoretical sense but RHP represents a real community of daily conversation for me... often only a mere glimpse, now and then a window, sometimes a welcoming door into the play of mind and lives of insightful, thoughtful people.

Neither dealt with an off the wall invitation to satire or arcane "public urinal" frame of reference. Seems the guy deserves a considerate straight answer in plain words sans posturing. Where am I wrong?

Message between your post lines received and understood. Guess my going in premise was somewhat naive (and Tychex certainly doesn't need the likes of me presuming to cover his back). Gradually realizing the RHP Public Forums are designed to accomodate both serious discussion of issues and helpful information exchange as well as personality driven banter and entertaining conversational graffiti... sort of an intellectual neighborhood pub or chess lovers only club where you can go to connect, stay in touch, laugh and blow off steam.
