Psychiatrists and Psychologists

Psychiatrists are medical doctors, psychologists are not. Psychiatrists prescribe medication, psychologists can't. Psychiatrists diagnose illness, manage treatment and provide a range of therapies for complex and serious mental illness. Psychologists focus on providing psychotherapy (talk therapy) to help patients.

Some folks don't seen to know the difference between the two!

I do it mainly for the spelling, I know what I am talking about but sometimes it doesn't come across the way it was intended! 😉

To point out the difference between a Physchiatrist and Psychologist.

I've already explained my debate with someone while I was out over the subject matter.

If he didn't understand then there is a good possibility others out there on this site don't either.
