You are the one who's so bothered about a child overhearing a swear word, so yes, you'd probably better check closets, doors and windows.
I haven't changed my stance. As I have said before, I wouldn't deliberately start such a discussion with children listening, but I wouldn't check carefully if there are children anywhere close, and I don't think it will ...[text shortened]... t before, they won't even know it's something with a potential to be used for swearing.
I don't know where you think I live that there would be children in my closet or in my yard listening in... I live in a swamp.

The Dutch-based Action Front of National Socialism.
But then I have no friends at the AFNS. In fact I have no friends at all, except ole Bowmann here.
And I detest National Socialism, although I have to admit I have read Gunther Grass... does that latter fact count against me?

If the conversation would be sexually explicit, I wouldn't have it in front of children, but not because of the use of a swear word. For me, it's all about content, not words.

Do all your friends live in a swamp as well, or do you never visit them? And is your child not in the house when you talk to your friends at home?
Originally posted by sevenstarThanks for correcting me. I'm not as familiar as you are with Dutch neo-Nazi movements.
