All this talk of guitars and amps must have encouraged some of you to do some recording. I'm even prepared to open new categories for people and extend the deadline if I have to, just so we can get this thing going.
Sorry, I don’t join popularity contests…

Meaning you couldn't produce a good piece of music if your life
depended on it?

Was thinking about my christmas present, a reissue on cd of the
original Harry Smith Anthology of American Music, a kind of folk
bible. Anyone here ever hear of it or Harry Smith? He won a
grammy for this work. He was kind of famous or infamous if you will,
a real character, polymath genius type.

I can play 2/3 of Paganini's 5th caprice and I am willing to record it but the sound quality will be extremely poor because the only way I can record it is through a direct connection of my guitar to my soundcard...(not amplified)

Quality is of no real importance, direct line from guitar to soundcard will be perfectly audible.

Ok I'm slacking but getting there... may need bit of extra time..

I been trying to figure out what key.. chord progression etc.. and earlier today made a nice melody. so I have something to work with now..

Plz note I'm writting this from scratch.. So is going to take some time.
But i'll provide scores etc to proove its mine. Cos I think we all need to provide proof that its our own work.

Edit: 9th should be ok.. If I need extra week or two i'll let you know.

LOL. You're kidding, right? Let's give you the benefit of the doubt for one second. Say we do need to provide proof (a ridiculous, stupid idea), how would you suggest we do that?
