Noodles, how is that IS lens working out for you? I was considering buying one, but primarily for Wedding photography. IS only allows you shoot slower, isn't it? So, it's not good in low light situations when you want to freeze the action? I'm thinking I might be better off getting a lens with a wider aperture.

But in low light conditions you face a difficult task freezing movement no matter what solution you choose: IS enables longer shutter speeds so freezing movement is limited and with small apertures, your depth of field is very shallow and it'll be hard to focus exactly where you want if your subject is moving.
