I am genuinely curious. For those who have decided they don't care if they win - what are your motivations for playing?
I need to learn how to do what Ikko Ikki and Uesegi have done in future games. What is it that puts so many of you on their side?

But what if they contradict each other? I need to have a reliable one....
Which dictionary do the firm of no1marauder and no2marauder recommend?
I see you turned over Aki to the Uesugi. I have a question for the people who are playing just to assure that the Uesugi and Monks win; why don't you simply turn over 146 Gold Value provinces to the Uesugi and Ikko and get this farce over with?

Since I was a complete diploware novice I thought I should accept a junior position to another player, so I adopted the persona of daimyo who was sworn to a greater daimyo.
The oath of fealty in sengoku Japan was literally the willingness to throw one's life away for one's lord. I've just played out that mentality. If my lord wins, I win, as far as I am concerned. Whether I am named as one of the official winners or not simply doesn't matter to me.
Others might scoff at that, but that is true to the period and what I personally wanted out of the game.
I might ask in return why they don't simply play chess if they couldn't give a toss about the period.
I do not have that set of aims in Age of Conquest, for instance. That's a different game.
My lord might have Starrman had he been royalty. Nook also spoke highly of no1marauder, you, and Bosse. Nook and I argue too much for it to have been him (sorry mate).
Bosse seemed interested in the theatre of the game - beyond the "I've got more hit points than you and I'm gonna kill you all blah blah blah" stuff. So I chose Bosse.

You wouldn't dare call me a liar to my face, Sunshine...
When it was confirmed I was in this game by the GM, I sent you an email extending the hand of cooperation and you ignored it. That is a FACT.

I would love to meet your forces in a dark harbor somewhere, Ryuzoji.

Scary Ryuzoji.
Shikoku is separated from Kyushu in case you hadn't noticed. If Ito had gone along with me, I'd have taken over one of his cities or towns in much the same way I took over Sanuki, along with a Han, and started building. Hosokawa could have coped with Otomo on his own (it was when Ito started getting involved that I decided to act). What? I had him out for the count when you came to his rescue.
