BTW, the Kyushi Alliance has resigned from this game. I suggest all the "players" who don't care about winning cede as much of their territory to the Uesugi as they can; he's reasonably close to a solo win. Not that you can be bothered with such mundane details.
Talk about sportmanship...

To play it out to the finish, as players in these games are expected to do. You've ruined this game for all the other players just because you were losing! Would you encourage an attitude like that in any other game?
How is the game ruined? Your victory is a forgone conclusion - no one in your group will break ranks, you've got overwhelming numerical odds in terms of troop strength now - which will only get exponentially worse for us.
If Kyushu were bot or human makes no difference - you've got the numbers to win every battle from here on in.
The only thing that will change is the daily fighting/gloating in this thread!

In a veterans MD game I recently completed, 2 of the survivors had no land at all and no prospects of victory, another (myself) had come back from zero to a modest 40-odd gold. It made the game a lot more fun for everyone not to have people bot out.
You could have learnt a lot just from playing this out: anticipating movements, seeing what rabbits you can pull out of the hat. Unfortunately you seem to have bought into this "winning is everything, nothing else counts" nonsense. I don't suppose you even tried to get replacement players...
If anyone is willing to take up the reins of the Kyushu alliance, just for the hell of it, maybe you all could give them your passwords. Spoilsports.
Originally posted by Bosse de NageThe thing is, none of your alliance will break - there was absolutely no chance of us doing anything but getting wiped out in 2-3 big battles and that would've been it.

Another game I'm playing in I'm in even worse strife with 6 provinces and 3 massive enemy armies within striking distance - but there has been so many changes in alliances/backstabbing that I fully intend to stick it out - in that game things might change. In this one, nothing will.
And you must be joking if you think that I've bought into a 'winning is everything' frame of mind - that's so far from the truth as to be ludicrous. If I never get my name on 'the leader board', I couldn't care less - I play purely for the enjoyment of it - in this one, the enjoyment disappeared when it became obvious that the 9-3 odds were set in stone.
