Nah, looks like you got more quality troops than we did, as well as a LOT more infantry.
I put Hosokawa's losses in an edit, which didn't go through: I make it
3 Horo, 3 jizamurai, 7 arquebusiers and 4 archers.

The massed yari cavalry charge worked a treat! They slew and slew.

What were you expecting to happen?

On the up side, for you, you appear to have naval superiority.

I was -this- close to attacking Iyo. It looks like I'd have taken it too, though with heavy losses.

I didn't calculate much this last year, so I had no real expectations.

I thought you might! It would certainly have fallen.

Well we got the first Dominion! Nyah nyah!

EDIT - I suppose I expected you to assume my army would move somewhere and that you'd act in anticipation of that, giving me some kind of advantage.

I did, but it came as a pleasant surprise that you did not.

I see I was not at war with Ito during the battle! Good heavens. Hosokawa's troops did more fighting than they should have!

A fine effort that - now you have to hold it!

I must say, those smegging lancers of yours don't miss often.

Well they have 4 attacks each at almost 50%. However they did miss sometimes; look at the pair of them that did 0 damage early on - round 1 I think.

Where did your troops pop from?! Can't say I noticed them lurking around before.

Yet again it seems that Lord Oda kicked some serious butt.

I have created a masterpiece using the heads of my slain enemies entitled 'whoops'

Bidding will start at 4 cows.

What modifiers do troops use for paratrooping?

EDIT - You WILL be using parachutes right? I doubt Samarai make good "smart bombs".

Ninjas fall from the sky and they don't need no parachutes.
