My sentiments exactly - well spoken.

We threw a "we feel sorry for the state of their navy party" as they sailed past.
They haven't docked in some time, those lean and hungry sailors. Who knows where they'll end up?

hmm, well according to No1 the massive armada is preparing to assault Ryuzoji held territory and l am complicit in the plot!!!!

Perhaps l am actually the mastermind of the whole thing?

l think the Shimazu would be well advised to stay away as his force is far too big for any to want to fight.

Funny on the same turn you gave them a province, the Proclamations say this:

From the Shimazu Clan:

Ryuzoji CLan:

Have you finally seen your fruitless quest shall fail. I will avenge thee
in time Ryuzoji, In TIme.

Of course, you wouldn't have known anything about that.

Be that as it may. I'll be prepared for you, the Shimazu and anyone else foolish enough to send a fleet into my sphere of influence.

Not all and the Takeda and Hojo would have local superiority. If they wait for the Kyushu Alliance to be defeated, A) They'd have a very long wait; and B) You'd probably have enough to declare victory. Whereas if a number of them rose up now you'd be in the dreaded position of actually fighting a war against a group about as strong as you. Perish the tho ...[text shortened]... , would it? The time for them is now when there are strong forces on the board opposing you.
I'm stuck territorialy between the two strongest realms in the game and you're suggesting that me and Hojo should rebel against them while they are still combined as allies?

If you're smart.

No1's point is that rebelling is your only chance to become Shogun and win the game.

I'm already building the guillotines. What's your neck size, Uesugi?

Measure it the next time I get drunk and fall over. It's not fair to kill me in my sleep, though.

Hell yeah!

It is a lot of fun turning on giants and jabbing thorns into their sides - a lot more fun than plodding along as an insignificant ally towards an inevitable end. 😉😀

I beg to differ Sire, a slow and torturous death, with much pain and wailing and gnashing of teeth.

It is fun, although the people directly on the front lines (as you are not) aren't always too keen to get involved...Planning on sending anymore "seahorses" over to Shikoku?
