I was once stuck at the top of a tree I had climbed as a kid. I think that's where I got my fear of heights. 😲 😢

When you were stuck up in the tree how did you get down? Did a fireman save you?

There is nothing to fear, but fear itself!!!

My dad came out after my younger brother told him of my predicament and he (Dad) stuck around till I managed to work my way down.

So your dad's solution was to let you work yourself out of the sticky situation you got yourself into...I think I agree with that!!! 😉

He stuck around offering some advice about how I could work my way down and as I am still among the living he seemed to have succeeded though I must say I remained a "don't test the waters first" kind of guy till well into my 20s. 🙂

Have you stuck to not climbing trees, or did you take up rock climbing? 😉

No but I did, in my later 20's stick myself into the "marriage game" with somewhat the same results as my tree climbing but without help from dear "old" dad...who said, and I quote, "You made your bed, now sleep in it".

Now that you have reached the highest branch, stick to it and don't look down - someone dear to you will catch you if you fall.
