If you simply require tannin, drink red wine.
If you require a sweetened hot beverage, try coffee, etc.

The best tea is one that is drank on the eleventh hour, first you need something (anything) more important that needs doing and preferably something that somebody else is waiting for, this is the optimal time for brewing that perfect cup of tea.
To prove you are ready, what would you consider to be important?
