182/6. Michael Clarke is in with a runner while Warnie is looking pretty good at the other end. Aus in danger of not making the follow-on. Are we seeing the slight demise of Australian cricket?

Tomorrow someone will be murdered. Another person will have a baby. A plane will crash. A plane will be built. They will find a powershaver in the unreached part of the Amazon jungle. And a monkey revolution will start.

You enter a cricket thread, spout some gibberish, and then become confused when the topic returns to cricket?

Well most of the stuff is true isn't it? The monkey stuff I dunno about though. The other stuff besides the shaver is probably true.

I suspect he'll run out of partners long before then.

Come on, lads, do it for Warnie.

Game over for today. I think he'll run out of partners but that won't stop him getting his 50. Good for him. Controversial, successful and horny as he is, you've got to love the guy (in a weird way). I think Murali's going to overtake his record because he's got age on his side but Warne's certainly earned his place as one of the top five cricketers of the century.

What a great day for England!
Who would have thought Aus would be chasing the follow on target in any of these matches?
Who cares if Warne is 50-odd not out, let him have his runs so long as we skittle the real tail enders for not much.

Anything less than 500 leaves the Aussies with a chance of winning. Remeber Eng v SA at the Oval a few years ago, SA got 484 in the first innings and lost by nine wickets.
I stand (almost entirely) corrected. Now if only Manchester wasn't such a wet city.
