The Halloween Limerick Competition

General

we have a winner
just hasn't been declared
Time for more limericks...with a 'spooky' theme.

Tournament starts now and ends next Sunday at 12pm uk time so everyone's got a week to get your entries in.

Same rules as last time;
- Any topics are allowed (but let's have some spooky ones)
- As many entries as you wish
- The winner is decided by thumbs up
In the event of a tie we will have joint winners
Thumbs down don't count

Rules were made by the OP & Creator of this thread!

Plenty of time for more entries and we've yet to receive one from our reigning champ, Indonesia Phil.

Rusty's looking for his 4h pencil. Once he finds it he's going to blow away the competition. Watch out!

Not 2h it is called 4H pencil! Here is the difference for those you who don't know.

"H" pencils feature harder graphite. (The "H" stands for "hard".) "B" pencils feature softer graphite. ... In other words, a "4H" pencil is harder than a "2H" pencil while a "4B" pencil is softer than a "2B" pencil. Harder pencils produce lighter marks since less of the material is released as pressure is applied. 😉

"seems to be"

hardly a declarative statement, but i can see where the ghost's inherent dominance might influence the entire population of a small enclave

My understanding of 'seems' is far removed from 'declaring' and 'over'.

It's not over til it's over.

Ghost's inherent infatuation with knobblys might influence a small (and hungry) rodent but that's all.
