No. Highest rating ranged from 1815 to 1827 but the average rating from 1729 to 1742.

It is the average rating you should be looking at when making pairings. (For players who have had no time losses).

In your case you wouldn't have enough games in to make a pairing for you! 😉

Also keep in mind I did play you 2 games, so know you are higher rated than showing! 🙂

I play many more games than you do total as I have around 40 down from 60 going on this site. Your suggestion has really helped, I've also lowered them on one of the other sites and getting them down on the 3rd one. Does give one a bit more thi ...[text shortened]... instead of playing blitz chess as we discussed.

Was a fun game, looking at it again you probably let me off with my poor opening by trading too much. Then i just got lucky I could mess up your pawn structure while getting the pawn back.

You outplayed me in the endgame. I was fixated on a plan I had in mind, and paid a heavy price for it.

LOL...One game or the few Clan Games Goad has played doesn't really mean
much.
We wouldn't even match people unless they had at least 20 games played!

Goad doesn't have 20 Clan games played yet....then he tries to compare ratings, hell he doesn't understand you have to play them before you can start counting stats.

He enjoys playing people he figures he can beat, there are many like him on the chess sites.

I've completed over 500 games on the site, more than enough to validate my rating. (RHP itself only requires 20).

I play opponents of any rating, including a great many higher rated and better players than myself. That's the joy of chess Sherlock.

I'm talking about your clan games goad, you make it to 20 games yet? 😉 😛

EDIT: I've played over 13,000 games on here. Now clan games are a different story only played a few thousand of those, closing in on 3,000 Clan games played!!!...LOL...Tell me when you get there, if it ever happens which I doubt.

Okay, let's examine this falsehood. Currently, I have 10 games on the go. (My rating is 1801).

2 are against a player rated 1899
2 are against a player rated 1717
2 are against a player rated 1771
2 are against a player rated 1982

+ 2 ladder games where I was on the receiving end of challenges - ratings 1338 and 1482.


Where is the evidence of me only playing people I think I can beat?! Feel free to retract your slur. - Playing friends with lower ratings will impact a player's average opponent rating. It isn't rocket science.
