thoughts that keep me awake at night

if i combine caveat with edit it becomes edscavetit
autocorrect is confused

i've replaced the broom, dustpans and vacuum with a simple battery operated leaf blower

my shack has never been so clean

The fact thet many people cant distinguish between etymology and entomology bugs me in ways I cant put into words.

two steps forward
one step back
me and the dogs do this dance
all around this ole tin shack

but what brings me here, offended at the subterfuge, is my step counter that's built into my nifty swifty smarty watch
the dang thing's been extracting that one step back from the aggregate and thus my heart is beginning to fail much earlier than i expected
i hate the big brother of the corporation of the ministry of truth
the lil brother too

i can beat it tho
since restless leg syndrome is also a side effect of my life i just put the device on my knee when i'm playing chess and i get 20K steps inna half hour

i consider myself very cautious about internet contacts and behavior
i clear out cookies and browser caches regularly
i block as many adverts as i possibly can to prevent the blatant tracking of my paranoid self

but amazon has beaten me
i do not know how, but they knew i had been looking at the next chainsaw i am going to purchase
AND
randomly
a rice cooker because my olde one has started the annoying habit of shutting off before the rice is fully cooked

rice al dente is not what i want

but lo and behold, there on the "for you" page was the combo sale of century

"buy this chainsaw and we'll throw in this rice cooker for 10% off!"

the insidiousness of the advertising mind is mind boggling

i buy laundry detergent based not upon the efficiency of the product but by how easy it is to keep the bottle cap clean
