The Tigers have just beaten the Twins for the second night in a row for win no. 70 on the year. They're not showing an sign of slowing down. 8.5 game lead over the White Sox and 10.5 over Minnesota. World Series, here we come!

My local sports talk had given in calling you Tigers 'The Real Deal'. They figured you would fall off by the break.

How is your record agains AL east? Hmmmm?

8-8. With the way the schedule is these days, it seems like we hardly ever play anyone outside our division. We've played Cleveland 13 times so far and the entire AL East only 16. Doesn't seem right.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, the Cubs have owned the Cardinals this year. Maybe no World Series, or even playoffs, but we beat the damn Cardinals 8/11 times.

You like the Packers, so you must like the Brewers too, unless you're a bandwaggoner.

Brewers suck.

If you don't like your area's team, and your favorite team is a lot better than the local team... you are a 'front runner'. Lots of Yank fans around here... losers.

I like the Packers because I'm surrounded by Packer fans. In baseball I'm a Cubs fan (since 1970). In my distant past when I watched football I was a 49ers fan.

In your case, the Yankees suck, so why would anyone want to like them, especially when they got big Papi, lil Papi, and Schilling on their sides?

Eh, they say something like 26 rings... oh, my uncle is from NY and is a big fan... just waiting for the 5 wins they might get in the next 12 years or something.

Perhaps the tide has changed, and the Sox will now win another couple in the next few years... They'll change then, since they are 'front runners'.

That's when I moved to a Chicago suburb (7th grade, if you're taking notes). Prior to that, my father was raising us as Yankee fans, and my first love was Mickey Mantle.

You beat the Yanks once in 4 games, and beat the Sox once in 3 games. I can't believe your division has given up the wild card too.

All the signs of a 'front runner'. I do respect your love of the Cubs, they are my second favorite.

How? The Packers are only the front of the First Aid line! But I'm guessing you don't move much to different states.
