You want me to drive you there too?
The Garage, near Highbury and Islington station.
This of course begs the question of when you're on, but I've suddenly overcome my laziness and looked that up. I think the cutting response might have to do with the fact that you probably drive a golf cart.

Hello, I refer you to the game i'm currently playing against madam Game 1393532 which is 3 day/7 day match.
I have had this game won long ago with a bishop and 2 pawns against her(?) king. Rather than do the decent thing and resign she has eroded her time bank down to half a day, now she has taken to moving once every three days just before the ti ...[text shortened]... ur time to keep the game running.
Madam, you are a chump.
Thanks for you time people.
In the majority of cases this kind of players seems to "take their time" when they are in lost positions.
In winning positions they usually play as fast as you move.

Originally posted by BowmannHypothetically speaking the opening issue of this board does have a point though. Not speaking of the game at hand. But any game of similar circumstances, it can be very irritating to play through a game that seems to be holding you hostage to time. It could potentially take months in that way just to play one game.
If you need advice, seek it AFTER the game!
It's seems to breaks all competitive rules of good sportsmanship. Yet the player is playing within the excepted rules. Cutting out and taking a loss and moving on to new games can theoretically let you win more games in the same amount of time. But that can be physiologically difficult to do. I assume that is what the slow pokes are hoping for. That you will cut and run. In the long term it might not help either of you.
But cutting a loss or even a win can make you both winners in the long term. It just depends on what you are working toward short term gain or long term. In other words ratings, moves per month, or just wins vs loss. It can be like a financial plan. if your stocks are going in the wrong direction or remaining flat, pull out and move on to a better stock. But me I would never do that, I am too physiologically disturbed to follow my own advise. That's why I am poor.

Originally posted by RavelloFixing this problem should be a priority for Russ (after the new board code). I'm playing the final game in a round of one of the long hauled tournaments. The winners of the groups have already been decided, but my opponent is a slow player (which is why he is in a long hauled tournament, nothing cynical), but we've been holding up the tournament for a couple of months now, maybe even 3 or 4.

Once it has been decided who goes through from each group, the tournament should progress without having to wait for the positionally unimportant games to finish.
