Ingenious psychological warfare... get somebody to enlist out of desperation due to a weak economy. Get them to kill somebody. You have a supporter for life.

It is very hard for somebody who has killed (probably a civilian in the case of the u.s. military) to be convinced that their actions were at the behest of an evil regime, and equivalent to the actions of Nazi soldiers under the rule of Hitler.

D
What are you talking about? The American economy is humming along quite nicely, unlike the stick-in-the-mud economy of France and the rest of Europe

a son of a relative of mine just joined airforce in u.s., because his single mother couldn't pay for his education working three jobs. how sick is that.

we have free for all academic education here. well, with a nominal fee comparable to rhp subscription. nobody has to go kill anybody to get education.
Europe will be broke in time. You're too lazy to work hard and rely on a generous welfare system that is on the verge of faltering...didn't you see the whining French sissies protesting in the streets for a guaranteed job?

Dear John,

Let the guilt of the soldiers killing innocent people fall upon the head to the US Government.

Let the guilt of the soldiers abusing, assaulting and humiliating innocent people fall upon the head of the US Government.

Let the guilt of soldiers invading sacred land fall on the head of the US Government.

Let the guilt of the Coast Guard sodomising each other dressed up as the cowboy from Village People in all night "Brokeback Mountain" party's fall on the head of the US government.

Eso

In all seriousness, i feel sorry for the US Soldiers. They are victims themselves due to the choices of Dubya. I only hope in times of crisis they remain rational and safe.

I honor the people who fought in the wars, but I don't honor the wars they stood for- whether it be Vietnam, Korea, or today's Iraq war.
Then you need to leave the US and go to Europe where your views are welcomed. My father fought the Germans in WW2 and the communists in Korea, defending the S. Koreans. I know several grateful S. Koreans and Vietnamese that would slap sense into your head. .

you're right there anyway.

the proposals they were trying to implement were nothing to the temporary labour laws in my country (the UK).

France is unique in that respect though. Germany has high wage costs, but France is at the mercy of the unions

(or should that be merci LOL)🙂

If you look into any conflict that the United States has ever gotten into, there is something there that is valuable to the US in either material goods or military advantage (or equality). We have never truly acted out of good will.
Anothe History-challenged American. Have you ever heard of the Marshall Plan? Research it because your school is too PC to require you to! The fact that we rebuilt Germany and Japan, and to a lesser extent, Italy after WW2? Get an education....

The early students of the Marshall Plan saw it as an unmitigated success of American generosity. Criticism of the Marshall Plan, however, became prominent among historians of the revisionist school during the 1960s and 1970s. They argued that the plan was American economic imperialism, and that it was an attempt to gain control over Western Europe just as the Soviets controlled Eastern Europe. Far from generosity, the plan was the result of the United States' geopolitical goals.

I'm rather glad you're not more subtle with your approach. Only the completely stupid would fail to see you for what you are.

First proclaimed in 1868, Memorial Day was reserved to honor soldiers who died in the Civil War, one of the nation's bloodiest conflicts and the only one fought by and against Americans on U.S. soil. This is a special day for Americans to remember the ultimate sacrifice that our service members in the Armed Forces have made on ...[text shortened]... it all: “Live free or die”!

ENJOY, BUT REMEMBER AMERICA! HAVE A BLESSED MEMORIAL DAY!
