Every OTB tourney I have entered has been for 18+ years old players, and I am always the youngest one there and I am yet to exit a tourney within the bottom half of the final standings. You have no idea what you're talking about and almost EVERYONE on here uses a database or a book for their openings. Wise up, moron.
it is also in the nature of the internet that geeks can get away with making comments that would get their heads kicked in were they ever able to summon up the intestinal fortitude to make them face to face. i personally have no need to resort to such measures as i can run rings around you on the page, but there are lots of people out there who are not as nice as me.
btw: if you really want to be a writer, you had better develop a punchier prose style.

i think it is really admirable that you are working so hard to achieve your goals, and i think it is entirely possible that, with years of dedication, hard work and application you may indeed one day be able to live independently, and - who knows - achieve semi-literacy.
