It would finally put an end to the ridiculous accusations that Red Night has been throwing around, with the level of hypocrisy that only he can manage.

I feel my best posts were among some discussions with vistesd and LemonJello (and others) and the debate itself was rewarding (I don't think I got many recs over there, though).
However, I DO like to receive recs when ...[text shortened]... uited to forum humour than to serious debate. It beats getting a 'LOL' every day of the week.

Russ was ready to scrap the rec system altogether, for reasons that had nothing to do with TSM.
He decided to leave it in place based on some suggestions by Hoppy and RHB.
The alternative would have been no rec system at all.
TSM never had a policy to rec posts in order to destroy the wrecked system. We talked about it, but voted against the idea.
The raw numbers said that other clans did have a policy of reccing each other all of the time. (Perhaps it was an unspoken policy, but it existed and everyone knows that.)
The rec system has changed for the better. Let's enjoy it for what it is and stop crying over lost recs.
