correct, the answer is Oedipus, he is the most famous and started the story of incest.
Oedipus was technically guilty of incest [and patricide] but from a moral point of view he cannot be held to account since he had no idea Jocasta was his mother [and Lauis his father].
Ironically, Oedipus would not be considered to be suffering from an Oedipus complex since he only met his mother when he was an adult: the complex refers to the subconcious desire of a male child for the exclusive love of his mother: sometimes wrongly interpreted by hacks. Well, I suppose he could have the complex for his adopted mother but Sophocles doesn't dwell sufficiently long on Oedipus's childhood for this to be established.
