It just jumped to 9 thumbs down.

I think FMF is trying to beat my bad boy image! 😉

How so?

That post is an answer to vivify's OP question.

I wasn't "trying" to do anything other than say something on-topic.

I say that pretty much sums it up, I think in our case we have to stick to concentrate on doing our best to win every game we can. Being with the clan for 12 going on 13 years I have a pretty good perspective on forum values, strategies and tactics, in my own humble opinion. Also we should keep in mind we had been at it long before you joining our Clan, but it is all about the Team, as our Leader likes to say no "I" in Team!

It was all tongue in cheek I think is the expression used FMF.

You now have 9 thumbs down, who else do you know gets that many in a single post? 🙂

You don't have to take every thing said to heart.

If you think it has some significance, that is your prerogative.

Me and Suzianne used to clash in Spirituality. It turned out that our political views were quite similar in the Debate forum. We seem to have gotten along since then, and even when we disagree on religion, disagreements are civil.

Has anyone here been able to forge an amicable forum relationship with a poster you previously didn't get along with?

If so, how did you accomplish this?
Have you tried apologizing?

No, Suzie Q didn't get you banned, you got yourself banned for what you said!

Picking out the part of what I said and changing the context of what was said to you is your prerogative FMF.

I think my stormy relationship with Duchess64 is calming. At first, no matter what I posted, she'd go into all out assault mode. She'd post a 500 word insult as a reply to me saying something like, "I enjoyed Queen's Gambit."

But, using patience and kindness always, our relationship has greatly improved. Now, I can post all I want and she doesn't respond at all.

I'm pretty sure our friendship is building.
Peace to all.

Ah yes, one of the taboo subjects, the other being “name changing”.
I don't believe in most cases the name changes has changed the posters original persona in any way.

It is easy just let her believe she is correct, rather she is or isn't! 😉

If you have to brown nose, then that is not a friend, and if it used to be a friend then she not worth it. Walk away from that person.

You don't know me well enough to know I don't brown nose to anyone, I say it as a see it! I never walk away from a situation, perhaps I should in certain cases, call it a weakness if you wish. I look at it as a strength.

Hell, You been around for 17 years you should know by now I don't brown nose, when saying I am looking for brownie points, I am joking round, don't take much on here seriously. You shouldn't either is my advice and you're here longer by a few years.
