@very-rusty saidHow so?
I think FMF is trying to beat my bad boy image!
That post is an answer to vivify's OP question.
I wasn't "trying" to do anything other than say something on-topic.
Dive said: - Very Rusty and I fought like cat and dog pretty much from my joining and our relationship still runs cold and hot and mostly tepid. Another ‘tempered’ relationship I would say where we share the same objectives in team chess, but not the same forum values, strategies or tactics.
I say that pretty much sums it up, I think in our case we have to stick to concentrate on doing our best to win every game we can. Being with the clan for 12 going on 13 years I have a pretty good perspective on forum values, strategies and tactics, in my own humble opinion. Also we should keep in mind we had been at it long before you joining our Clan, but it is all about the Team, as our Leader likes to say no "I" in Team!

@fmf saidIt was all tongue in cheek I think is the expression used FMF.

You now have 9 thumbs down, who else do you know gets that many in a single post? 🙂
You don't have to take every thing said to heart.

@very-rusty saidIf you think it has some significance, that is your prerogative.

@vivify saidHave you tried apologizing?
Has anyone here been able to forge an amicable forum relationship with a poster you previously didn't get along with?
If so, how did you accomplish this?
@badradger saidNo, Suzie Q didn't get you banned, you got yourself banned for what you said!
been banned myself a few times(suzzie got me banned once) so glass houses I cant say too much.

I think my stormy relationship with Duchess64 is calming. At first, no matter what I posted, she'd go into all out assault mode. She'd post a 500 word insult as a reply to me saying something like, "I enjoyed Queen's Gambit."
But, using patience and kindness always, our relationship has greatly improved. Now, I can post all I want and she doesn't respond at all.
I'm pretty sure our friendship is building.
Peace to all.

@great-big-stees saidI don't believe in most cases the name changes has changed the posters original persona in any way.
Ah yes, one of the taboo subjects, the other being “name changing”.

@liljo saidIt is easy just let her believe she is correct, rather she is or isn't! 😉

@very-rusty saidIf you have to brown nose, then that is not a friend, and if it used to be a friend then she not worth it. Walk away from that person.

@rajk999 saidYou don't know me well enough to know I don't brown nose to anyone, I say it as a see it! I never walk away from a situation, perhaps I should in certain cases, call it a weakness if you wish. I look at it as a strength.

Hell, You been around for 17 years you should know by now I don't brown nose, when saying I am looking for brownie points, I am joking round, don't take much on here seriously. You shouldn't either is my advice and you're here longer by a few years.
