I don't want a cookie--I'm merely discussing the topic, unlike yourself. If shav doesn't want to trip anymore, I'm not saying he/she should, I'm just talking about relevant factors concerning the topic and the points that he made.

Your only post in this thread has been about cookies.

Actually, my only post thus far has been a question about what it is that you want. However, cookies were mentioned...delicious cookies.

But this is a thread about sharing experiences, right? Well, I smoke weed regularly, which makes me tired and hungry but also sensitive to touch and a little giggly (nice way to wind down the night, with a woman or even solo). I've also had mushrooms several times which pretty much make me giggle like a school girl. Can't say either of them has given me a bad experience.

What are your mind-trips like?

I keep on trying to compose a post which will answer the questions posed in relation to my experiences with drugs. The truth is that I didn't do drugs for "Consciousness Expansion", I did them to get as wasted as possible, dance in fields and be with similar like-minded social misfits, I loved the free party scene, I loved throwing things at coppers, I loved dancing til 10am the next morning and greeting the dogwalkers with a wild stare and a perma-grin. I took my body to it's limits and I firmly believe I wouldn't be writing this now if I hadn't stopped.
The first and last time i took a strong hallucinogen(2-CB) was summer solstice at stonehenge 2003. It started as a fantastic experience, I felt like I knew everyone and everything, worries seemed to drift away, I remember taking my money out of my pocket and letting it go in the wind, it was like I would never need it again. These feelings of euphoria lasted about 30 minutes(seemed like hours) and as a perpetual pill taker it was second nature for me to take another hit... Big mistake, a friend asked me if I had just taken another and it started to freak me out, It felt like constant deja vu, like I had been there thousands of times before and had made that mistake every time. Unfortunately I was too far gone to talk down, I completely lost the plot and ended up at salisbury hospital with all the other people who had freaked it seems, They gave me more drugs to make me sleep and I went home the next day never to touch another drug again. I can't even have a joint anymore as it triggers flashbacks, I normally suffer 2 or 3 flashbacks a month of varying strength(not good in work I can tell ya).

Did drugs expand my conscious? Who cares it was great fun, I think that books I have read since quitting have expanded my concious more but maybe I am more succeptible to these ideas since my drug daze.

To the OP, try reading :-

Cosmic Trigger - Robert Anton Wilson

Mild visuals at the most inappropriate times normally, sometimes they can be pretty strong but i've learnt to relax and they go away pretty quickly. Bear in mind though this is 3 years after the event, for the 1st year they were pretty bad.

This is all that needs to be said on the subject.

When you screw with your brain's natural chemistry and scramble them up with psychedelic drugs, no good can come of it. You may think you are "enlightened", but you're not.
I grew up in the 60's, did it all, and wish I hadn't. I did acid starting in my teens, thought I was really onto something and that everybody else was walking around in their sleep while I was truly hip.
Man was I stupid. Stay natural, stay straight, and you're way ahead of the game.

Did someone drop Rohipnol in your drink and. . . . ? 😵
A few years back, my mother was at a singles bar dancing. She was 60 yrs old at the time and someone thought it would be funny to put a hit of LSD in her drink...

So she's telling the rest of the family about the incident at Thanksgiving dinner. I asked her what happened and how did she know someone put LSD in her drink?

She said that she was down on the floor doing the 'alligator' when she became stuck to the lighted dance floor. The lights flowed over her legs and became a thick goo that held her down. The bouncers had to lift her off the floor and told her that someone must've spiked her drink with LSD, which was a continuing problem at this particular bar.

I asked her if she was scared at the time and she replied, "Hell no! It's one of the best times I've ever had!"

six or seven years later and I have the same sort of thing, less frequent with time, but almost stronger in inverse relation to how often it happens. also those visual trick pictures work really well...

of course, at one point i was dropping several tabs a day for six weeks straight...

I'll be down in Dublin again soon, we'll have to meet up for a pint or two.

Yeah, this time I won't have four or five before I show up. I was a bit of a tosser last time...

Edit - Is this the beginning of another Ireland meet-up? Maybe someone can win that trophy back from Rossroe.
