And now the soldiers are losing the uniforms & dressing as civilians to attack the troups. "But they're not playing by the rules!" I've heard people complain, but who can blame them when playing by the rules means certain defeat? As I said months ago, war in open desert is easy, as anyone there is there to fight, and can't hide from the bombs. Now that the war has moved to the towns & cities you can't see the enemy, and you can't destinguish him form a civilian. I sincerely hope that the 'intellegence' reports are correct, in that all resistance will crumble once the leadershiop is removed in Baghdad, because otherwise you have a war against a hidden enemy that you can't see to fight. There will be years of occupation, where the occuying soldiers are shot at and blown up, and civilians caught up in the fighting from both sides. Remind anyone of Vietnam?

yes saddam needs to be got rid of and his regime destroyed, but think of all the innocent people that will die in the process. the end does not justify the means.
notice the hypocracy surrounding the crisis, its ok for america and britain and others to have nukes capable of decimating moscow but saddam is told to disarm because he has missiles of a range of about 150 miles which if were taken to the border of irag could probably kill a few sheep!
what is all the s**t surrounding the reason behind the war? 1st it was to disarm saddam 'by force' of his 'weapons of mass destruction'. when blix couldn't find any the americans made up some crap about co-operation. since when would the iraqis say, yes we have 20 ICBMs? the trigger happy, war mongering oil guzzling americans would nuke them before you could say s**t! the war now is apparantly a humanitarian mission. since when has massacring thousands been a humanitarian mission???
Of course the iraqis are fighting back, wouldn't any self respecting briton do the same if he saw an american in his back yard?
