I know doctors and others recommend you drink 8 glass of water a day. I was reading on this site that this person trying to get from 170 to 180 pounds drinks 17 glass of water a day! 17!!!
I started drinking more water and i'm around 8-9 a day now. How much do you drink?
I start this program last month, April 1 and gained several pounds that month, but this month I haven't gained anything.
I've been drinking 8 to 9 glasses a day, eating around 2400 calories.
Work out 2 day then 1 day off, then 2 days on, 1 day off so it works out to 5 days a week working out on average and I get around 8-10 hours of sleep each day.
My muscles are growing and I increase the weights 5 pounds each week but I'm not gaining any weight anymore, just going back and forth around one weight.
Any ideas?

Eat more, exercise less = larger weight gain
Eat more, stop exercising = massive weight gain
🙂

I would go for eating loads of healthy food loads of fruit, pasta and veg etc. Also loads of protein.
I would expect that the person who drunk all that water was eating a lot and doing a fair bit of exercise and just worked hard and got thirsty.
Well I read all that advice before. The protein thing is hard though. They recommened 1 g of protein for each pound of body weight. So if your 150 pounds they you need 150 grams. It's hard to get that much protein from natural foods, no supplements and those other things.
Any great protein foods?
I was looking at some online menus for fast food stuff.
Double cheesburger about 500 Cal, 30 gram protein. You eat 4 of those 120 g of protein but you need 150 grams. Plus who eats 4 double cheeseburgers. Most foods don't even come close to having that much protein.

Don't go overboard, just maybe a bit more then normal.
Here's a list of some foods. Other online sites are similar. Looks like meat and milk products are the best. I don't think it's possible to get that much protein without supplements. Getting over 100g of protein daily with normal diet is impossible.

Here's this guys site with this eating plan. There's about 140g of protein from supplements right there!
