Yes, I'm diverting the thread a bit, but to reference Palynka, I switched to a safety razor a few months ago for the very reason that I hated dropping a pile of money on those damn cartridges. The initial investment is a bit up-front (30 USD for the razor, plus I use a better cream w/brush, at about 25USD, and a box of 100 blades for about 20USD). But, I ...[text shortened]... e guys did decades ago. My 3-year-old boy just watches in amazement every time I shave. 🙂
Now if you just went to the beauticians and got it waxed you could get away without shaving for at least a month. Think how much time you could save and.. I don't know, devote that to more chess. It will hurt, but hey, what's a bit of pain 😉

I was shopping today, and as usual went to get my foam and Gillette Mach 3 blades.

As I was driving home I was cussing, as you do, at the extortionate cost of Gillette shaving blades. That got me to thinking that maybe I just didn't browse the shelves well enough.

I wonder if there are blades of similar quality and longevity as Gillette Mach blades, bu ...[text shortened]... ?

What do you use that you find gives a close shave, and satisfies your chin's day?

I have the first one and it is the best shaving since figuring out that popular plastic razors suck. The second I haven't bought yet but I plan to go completely old school on my face soon.
