BTW, one of the Parkening students did the transcription and he ran with it. It kept the bass line as close as was possible for solo guitar. So the notes were great but the dynamics of the piece was all Parkening.
He talks about it here: It was a FRIEND of one of his students who did the transcription.
I bet JS Bach would have been impressed!
