@Suzianne saidTwo or three tangents away, when I was in college in the late 70s, it was my Aunt on my Mom's side who probably was the first in our family to see "Alien" and based on her recommendation I went to see it myself.
I fell in love with this song the first time I saw the movie. It was at a surprise showing in the SU at my uni.
Just listening to the ambient sound and changes of the central air heater at the moment.
@Suzianne saidWow. That post deserves at least three alerts, but I'll let it ride for the sake of context.
I don't search your post history. You have an amazing overblown sense of your own importance. I know from the scads of notifications I get every time you answer a post of mine. Remember, this is you forcing yourself on me, not the other way 'round.
And, in case you don't realize how nasty and ugly (and wrong) you are, when I got my bachelors, it was with ...[text shortened]... sort to these forums for my performances, like you.
So climb right down off my ass, for a change.

That wasn't me who set things up so that your PC, your laptop. your smartphone, your fridge, your crockpot, and your toaster oven would alert you every time I replied to one of your well-considered and never adversarial posts.
We both know it was you who incomprehensibly turned on me after some pleasant PM interchanges.
Please ignore the "little girl smiling" line (below) -- I don't think that would be relevant. Also, please don't try to put an arm around me without asking if that would be okay.
Tom Petty is interesting to me as someone interested in poetry and songwriting, in that he seems to have skipped the clever phase that many go through and went directly to writing simple and universal lyrics.
