You must have bought 'Born In The USA' before that concert?

TRB?? Saw them in 1977 at Manchester Uni. 'Sing If You're Glad To Be gay'...can imagine you joining in with gusto.

My best live band ~ Graham Parker and The Rumour circa 1978. Also 'Thunder', great slightly heavy rock

Tom was born in Stokesley 5 miles up the road got talent spotted by john mcoy who passed him on to Ray Davies, and I think the same thing happened to Chris Rea he was a Boro boy. yeah I was in the mosh pitt saw a lot of punk bands in the rock garden.

oh, come on, Badge. Graham Parker and TRB wasn't 'punk'. Lots of good bands emerged in mid/late 70s tho', on the back of 'punk'

no TRB was not punk but played around the same time as the pistols, Clash etc and it was at the time the only place to be in Middlesbrough at that time.the place was full off punks greasers new romantics and a guaranteed fight every Saturday night.

garage --> Muzak doesn't sound like a promising approach to a song. Yet I kinda like the molasses-slow 'Louie Louie' by the Sandpipers. 😛
