In case you visit Gothenburg... 🙂
Nice looking town, where my daughter in law is from. Maybe I can visit one day.

Just finished a sci fi,, Ultima by Stephen Baxter, now doing Sundiver by David Brin (he wrote the Postman, which was made in to a movie starring Kevin Costner)

Frank McCourt: Angelas Ashes

There has beena hypeon this, and I didn't read it then, but it fell inmy hands lately. It is a quite hard life, Frank is describing, and mostly autobiographic I understand.

It's very interesting to know why our homes and houses look the way they do, and he shows a refreshing sense of humour. ... No, I may refer to another of his books. Will be back. Sorry, I referred to 'At Home: A Short History of Private Life'. 🙂

When you read as much as we do the "stories", sometimes, get mixed up. It, of course, has nothing to do with our "maturing". 😉

Absolutely - as long as we know what it's all about, never mind what it's called.

I'm currently reading Al Gore's "Our Choice: A plan to solve the climate crisis"

Understandably America-centric, however, some interesting information contained. A shame that a former Vice-President, and a current President cannot agree that the environment needs saving!

It's highly doubtful that President Trump does any serious thinking. Climate change denial is part
of the Republican right-wing agenda in the U.S. and Trump is carrying the right-wing banner.

Unfortunately, the climate issue has become a political football.

"What has happened in Sweden? How could two hateful movements – militant Islam and anti-Islam organizations – have so much power to influence the public discourse? And how are we to understand and manage this verbal and sometimes physical violence?...)
