I like the way the thread turned from talking about money to talking about love. I think it's becoming apparent what we all really want.

Yeah Love is all around you
Love is knocking outside the
door
Waitin' for you Is this love made just for two
Keep an open heart and you'll find love again
I know you'll find love again

Yes. Yes we [i.e. poor people] are. We're also good at teaching the true meaning of life to our children instead of trying to buy their affections and create nasty little money grabbing greedy love starved human beings.

It's all about the love baby.

I consider myself poor.
...
I consider myself richer than most.

Poverty is a state of mind. If you feel hopeless, if you see nothing but hopelessness you will become hopelessly lost in an enviroment of despair. And it's people who don't have love and who aren't surrounded by supportive and encouraging people who succumb to hopelessness the most.

I am slightly confused.

No. You have to say "I consider myself slightly confused".

I consider myself more confused than you.

Okay, I consider myself slightly confused. And "slightly" is an understatement.

So, I'd say we're unlikely to be able to answer the question "what do women want?" when we can't even come close to answering the much simpler "what does mokko want?"

Ask yourself this. What do you want? And when do you want it? Then multiply the answer by 5. Add 3 and withdraw 50. There's your answer to the question: "What do women want?".

So simple.

[edit: oh, forget that edit. 😞 ]

Actually, I did not pose the original question, but just wanted to join Ms. Noodles in teasing mokko.

I think the question "what do women want?" is pointless, because there really *is* no answer. All women don't want the same thing. Sure, there are trends, but generalization here isn't useful.

On the other hand, figuring out what a specific women wants is a very useful skill. I've never found this difficult, at least for any women who interested me.

Am I suggesting that what a lot of women want is someone capable of understanding them? Hmmm

Hm, I thought the answer to "What do you want? And when do you want it?" were an integer. If that's true, the answer to the question "What do women want?" can't be 42. But maybe my first assumption is wrong.

The answer is always 42

No, it's the answer to THE question. But I don't think "What do women want?" is THE question.
