Well it's nearly dinner time here, so after my Saturday afternoon beers.... I'm off for a Japanese meal. So my next drink will be saki!

Enjoy your meal and bring me some left overs. I LOVE Japanese food and of course also the saki, although the Chinese saki is stronger than the Japanese.

Back....... half cut. drinking 2 cans of Asahi, whatever that is....... from the restaurant!... beer, strong.... like a cross between stella n mans brown. Asahi super dry japanese (probably a copy..lol) ..... so the cans say... 😛

like i said..... half cut... it's 22.35 sat night here..... n sashimi was great... 😛😛😛

Agreed! While it is not something I want to drink all the time...many of them are simply fantastic. I'm partial to one called Delerium...wonderful!

Delerium is indeed a fantastic beer. Did you ever tried a Tripple Westmalle? We live 10 minutes from the monastery where they brew the beer 🙂

No, I have not tried that one, i will be sure to look it up.

Im slammin down a I ce cold Michelob ultra girly beer before bed..........not terriblealthough i have recently tried a Murphys ( cant remember the exact brew) but the head is so thick, rich and aromatic (it almost tastes a bit like coffee) im salavating just thinking about!!!

Just reading back through few pages I discovered the meaning of life.
Surely nothing could be better for a bloke than to spend his hard earned snippits of free time trying different beers in the quest search for the "Holy Ale" 🙂

Some of the most meaningful life moments are realised while sitting on crappers or in bars drinking beer,

I once had a Sunday dawn crap on a beautiful hillside long drop over looking a fabulous exotic island bay.. I sat there..sun streaming in through the open cubicle open (breathing life) and thought... Life doen't get better than this/// then it hit me.. yes it does!!!!
"I wish I had a beer".

This is serious serious stuff we are contemplating here guys and gals. Do you like the malt or the hop? How about the size and amount of bubbles.. I love fine beaded brown ale with a good head you can chew. You should be able to see through it.. I hate stout and porters.

I like Newcastle brown but would like a meatier version... is their one out there????????
