How do you know they cannot feel the word of god in a myriad of other ways? The bible may just be man's conduit to the heavens. Hell, most humans that read the bible can't even read.

I really can't blame you for putting up an argument that you are at least smarter than a dog. 😉

So, you actually could sniff out the drugs before the dog? 😲

What does a good or bad olfactory sense have to do with smartness?

Can you sniff out drugs too?...Damn you guys got some exceptional noses on you! 😲😲

Actually if you hadn't noticed the Topic is about which is smarter Dogs or Cats? Do you have anything to say on the topic?

Do you think the olfactory sense might indeed make the dog smarter than the cat? Or does the cat just not want to be bothered with it?

Trev and I were just having a little fun....

Cats may be smarter (or more cunning), but dogs are way more useful...they have earned their title,"Man's best Friend"

Can't say that about a cat.

they earned that title because the rely on man so much to survive, there's a reason why there's a 'dogs trust' and no cats trust. put a cat outside to defend for itself for a week and it will do just fine put a dog out and it will whine outside someones door before they feed it.

if no one feeds it, it dies.

You would sooner see the poodles, than a pack of hungry dogs, I can assure you. 😛 I wouldn't bet against them eating the poodles either!

you see the weak dogs (of which there are many) would be killed off pretty soon if all cats and dogs were left to fend for themselves. then with no weak dogs left, not dismissive of cannibalism the stronger dogs would turn on the not so strong dogs (btw, cats out run dogs and they can climb trees....forget about dogs whipping out the cat population) and of course in time dogs would forget all about how great humans were to them and hungry dogs would attack....this of course would result in the death of many dogs.

whereas cats on the other hand would happily run around chasing birds, mice and rats. where i grew up there was a family of stray cats living nearby, they got along just fine.

just admit it, cats are the superior species.
