Hey, that's super. But you still lack the reading comprehension skills to understand what Nordlys is saying (in an oh-so-adorable pedantic fashion). Or you're just an annoying git. Which is it?
I know what Nordlys is trying to say, she's trying to make the point that I think I am brilliant, I am trying to make the the point, as a fact, that I am brilliant, not just as a thought by myself, but as an undeniable fact, and that I know this.
Clearly this can't be the case, but that is the whole point isn't it? I'm trying to be full of myself. 😛

edit: within this though, I don't know why I am so brilliant.

Hope that explains my reasoning better. 🙂

From where I am sitting, everyone is attacking this question much like a monkey trying to hump a football. The facts are as follows:

1. If he was indeed brilliant, as he claims, then he would know the answer to the question prior to asking it.

2. If he is not as brilliant, as he claims and as others have pointed out, then he is either terribly misguided or fishing for a compliment.

3. If he is misguided, then we straighten him out and tell him that he is not brilliant.

4. If he was fishing for a compliment, we tell him nice try, thank you very much for playing.

So, we have ruled out number 1, assumed number 2, applied number 3 and ridiculed him with number 4.

Class dismissed. 😛😉😀🙄:'(😕

Explain why a brilliant person has to know the reasons for why he is so brilliant.

edit: Clearly it would be difficult to know all of the reasons, some of them may be quite subtle and difficult for someone with them to notice them, whilst the others, well, you certainly wouldn't know which are the most important for making you brilliant

I could explain to you, but then I would have to kill you.

Okay, I'll give up explaining it.

"Damn kids" was a great line in the movie Grumpy Old Men. Burgess Meredith was a classic!!

Please explain why a brilliant person would have 5 edits in 2 posts. I think you're putting us on.

Nope. You see, if you were brilliant, you would have ascertained that you could not get the answer from me without suffering death. Therefore, the fact that you are still alive would seem to indicate that you do not know the truth and that it truly is out there....somewhere. But, you can rest assured, you are not brilliant!!!!!

If I were to become any more brilliant, the universe would explode. 😀

Edit: editing moderates this down a little. 🙂
