I thought I'd share this as I've had it on my mind since yesterday to see what your views are.

My friend who I was having a drink with yesterday was upset. He told me that he had been going out with her for 3 years and who he was close to had split up with him. The reason that he was in tears is that she had found someone else. He had bought a h ...[text shortened]... seemed to think it reflected on himself.

What do people think about this situation?
His "lover" got a taste of the "tuna taco/bearded clam". If you are a man, once you get a taste of this delicacy, there is no stopping at eating just one, but when his woman got a taste and liked it, wild horses couldn't stop her......Wow!. For your friend, there's always "Rosie Palm and her 5 sisters".

I saw my friend again yesterday. he is looking worse than ever. He says that he does not want to leave the house and he is ashamed of the situation . He is afraid of telling his parents in case they blame him for the the situation. He is looking rough and and has refused to draw his curtains. He tells me that he can't believe what has happened to him and says that everything had been going fine until the 27th. He believes that his girlfriend who he had hoped he would marry had deliberately engineered the situation . he thinks that she cannot really love this other girl because it is impossible for her to be an "L". he never suspected her at all - She never paid any extra interest in the men's magazines he'd get. She never used to cuddle up to female friends that would visit.

i am wondering if there are any tests that you can do to show that your girlfriend fancies someone of the same sex. For example - will she get embarrassed if you drop into the conversation "lemon" sherbets or "leamington spa". Or will it make her angry?

Can you see it in their eyes?

So the problem was cheating or that she cheated on him with a woman?

he is unhappy because of the circumstances that he now faces and the implications of what his girlfriend has created for him ... I think.

i think you should take your friend out on the razz... have an excellent evening,go to a club chill out meet some girls, and tell your friend to stop dwelling on the past...she's history and he also sounds like a lovestruck kid...(vaguely like coconut did a while back)..tell him to pull himself.....(pardon the pun) together and stop being consumed by self-pity or he will never get another woman..

(was that a bit harsh?)

Bingo! Slap him on the ass and tell him to get back on the horse...

uhhh, figuratively speaking, of course... 😉

and harsh? no way! sounds like he could use a little harsh, it might give him a backbone, too, if he's lucky...

Why is it always the male who claims to "love" a woman, but then get's upset if she wants to have sex with someone else!? 😕

That is not LOVE, it's "conditional love"... which means that "I LOVE you as long as you meet my conditions"!

Yeah, you wanna atalk about real love? Real love is loving the ...[text shortened]... LOVE is wanting the person to be happy and allowing them to do what makes them happy.
Single, are you?

P.S.
IMO this story is fictional... come on, these things don't really happen in real life.
Too much of a movie scenario for it to be believeable.
