Define or perceive the working-class ~ wherever you are ~ as you see fit. If you see yourself as having been born into it, then this thread is for you.

I am seen by some here as pathologically dishonest and perhaps pathologically inaccurate too, who knows. I am being honest and accurate when I say I perceive my parents as having been working-class immigrants who raised a family in Britain and did so with upwardly mobile middle-class aspirations.

I have never pre judged you. We’ve all been different things at different times for as many reasons. My vision of what you were doing to the person trying to be honest and answer your question in peace although they didn’t understand it was insulting. Once they recognized your word play as what they more than likely took as dishonest and insulting as well they left. This all being because they didn’t fit into your box of an answer or person which in my vision is what you were trying to prove to them in the first place without looking at yourself first. You can’t even say hi in return.

Thanks for your candour, although I don't think you are using the term "wordplay" correctly.

I will, if you answer if my vision of your intent was correct or incorrect and why I would be right, wrong or a little of both. You’re probably correct about wordplay, that was only my way of explaining it as I read between your words either correctly or incorrectly.

If you don't want to talk about whether you perceive yourself as having been born into a working-class family, as I and others have, then don't.

Ha ha, that’s only because at first I got you mixed up with someone else when responding I think and yes bonehead I knew that. The reason was you were rude to me on my first or second post when I made the mistake of trusting your intent.

I think I only made a couple post then and it was probably you then also.

I did think of another choice I had missed? Could it be that your vision has dreams of Steve Martin dancing to king tut?
