Not much move activity recently, but our hero has taken on an extra 30 games, like a desperate gambler who keeps making bigger and bigger bets to try to cover his rapidly mounting losses. Once the new hardcore tournaments start, atri will have well in excess of 1700 games and will therefore, according to the posts in this thread, set a new record for the site.

Not much happening at the moment, though games in progress continues to creep up toward the magic 1700 mark. Is he aiming for 2000? Will the chess gods strike him down for daring to reach too high? Only time will tell.
