I hate this boring opening.
It doesn't offer the excitment of a KGA, Morra Gambit or Open Ruy Lopez all of which suit my playing style.
Can anyone suggest any gambit lines in this opening that will open the game up and are there are good books I can get and read on it?

I thought this was an exciting game. My oppnonent made one misstake as black (move 11) though there may be others, arguably his move 13 aswel
1. e4 c6
2. d4 d5
3. e5 Bf5
4. g4 Be4
5. f3 Bg6
6. Bd3 Bxd3
7. Qxd3 h5
8. h4 hxg4
9. fxg4 e6
10. Nf3 Be7
11. Ng5 Nd7?
12. 0-0! Rxh4 (the castling leaves king less threatened than just 12. Rf1, so attack can go on undisturbed by checks, though if attack fails will lead to trouble)
13. Qf3 Nf6 (f6 would leave my knight on g5 free to take e6 and do a lot of damage, demolishing his defence, so the sacrifice is what my opponent thought was best)
14. exf6 Nxf6 (threatening g4 which i dont want taken because it leads to checks, disrupting my attack)
15. Nxf7! Kxf7 (the temporary knight sacrifice was the only way i could see of saving the g4 pawn, and made me feel flashy)
16. g5 Rxd4
17. gxf6 gxf6
18. Qh5 Kg8
19. Kh1 Bc5
20. Bh6
1-0 (resignation)

But seriously, if someone is looking for something against the Caro Kann that is open or wild and crazy, why not play the Advance variations where white plays 4. Nc3 and then follows up with 5. g4!?. Or play the Panov Botvinnik Attack, 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. ed cd 4. c4!
