One thing I find really impressive is that top guys like Akizy and them are actually able to "routinely" beat these engine users. That's pretty incredible. Lets say fritz plays at it's claimed 2890 (or something like that) elo. I suppose that means these top players are actually playing at that level or better without engine help, that's impressive.

There are 2 other players above 2000 who I played on their way up but who shall remain nameless who I also suspect.
Originally posted by ih8sensI am on such a computer at the moment, so really, if I had that program I could use it and win all my games (although I assume its quite expensive)... but where is the fun in that? It seems to me that people who cheat have no personal pride.
Deep Fritz runs on an intel core 2 duo processor (99% sure)... that computer is available for purchase by anyone. I would assume if you owned that computer you're playing at a 2890 level.
Its hard to remember, but when Tension first started on this site he was barely 1700, i played him in a duel after he had been here for a month or two, and he was 1600, and he played horrible against me, and i beat him in both games...and then about a month later or so, his rating shot up over 2000+...must have been easy to spot??
