The post that was quoted here has been removedGiven that Robbie seems to consider my views irreparably 'biased' on account
of gender, he should avoid asking me directly for my views in the first place -

Why should I avoid asking anyone anything simply because of bias? We have all
formed our own evaluations through having a bias towards some position or
another. If I was concerned about bias i would never read another editorial in a
newspaper or magazine, ever again, would I? To me 'bias', is not a dirty word, and
please do not construe this as back peddling, its to what extent and why a bias has
arisen that is the interesting thing.
I tried my very best to remain detached from the arguments and time and again
attempts were made to make it personal, notwithstanding , i was subject to,
1. If you're unable to control yourself then that is your problem - DCpoc1985
2. He is a religious fundamentalist - Proper Knob
3. Are you on drugs? - Proper Knob
4. Only someone who is mentally impaired - Proper Knob
5. Your poor impressionable mind from such perversions - Shallow Blue
Please note and it has been my position from the start that these reprobates have
FAILED to understand as is evidenced by their personal remarks, ITS NOT ABOUT
ME! nor my morality, nor my religious bias, nor my view of women, nor my view of
women chess players, nor my view of women's cleavage, nor my self control, nor
my ability to read, nor my ability to survive in Glasgow, nor my cognitive processes,
ITS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME, can you understand.
My position which i have asserted in unequivocal terms from the beginning is that
FIDE has the right to impose, as the governing body, a dress code. If those
persons who wrote their personal insults would simply take the time to understand
this rather important facet, they may do better instead of constantly dragging the
discussion to a personal level with tabloid style journalism and sensationalistic
accusations!
