Yeah, definitely...hm, I made that move quite a few months ago so I don't have any idea why I didn't make it, maybe I wasn't able to see that after exd5 Nxd5 Nxd5 Qxd5 Bxe7?? is a major blunder?! I'm not sure, I have no memory of making the move though. 😛

not being a Dragon player anymore (i was never very good with it) but an Accelerated Dragon player instead, the d5 push just sticks out like a really really sore thumb. But im sure that there were better choices than Re8 (what's the rook doing on the e file anyways?)

Well, I didn't check the board. But there's a good chance white had just played Qd2 or something like that...Basically it prevents Bh6 if that's the case. Otherwise...well I can't think of an otherwise, it's a really common move in the dragon though.
