The post that was quoted here has been removedI think we're all confused. 🙁
It's fine, I'm glad to talk about theory, tbh though I think white should just play the Meran - I really don't see any reason for white to bother with the Bg5 ideas when black can make things as crazy as he wants with the Botvinnik.
I had planned on taking up the Semi-Slav and using the Moscow as you mentioned though, Smaug, before switching to the Grunfeld which is more open.
sorry cms, looks like you're not getting your game
Game 2984967
ok I'll just self annotate this one based on my thinking (games fresh in my mind still), Fritz 10, and notes in Play the King's Indian
ok so dmnelson picks the less violent Fianchetto Variation to meet my KID.
skipping to 10. cxb5, this trades off a central pawn for a wing pawn, making it a slightly antipositional move, but white's next move helps to justify this.
10. ...axb5 11. b4 when white wants to block the queenside a bit, where cxb5 helped. note that 11. Nxb5? loses to Ba6
11. b4 can't block off the queenside too effectively though due to 11. ...c5!? and after the pawn trades, GM Joe Gallagher calls the position =.
skipping to 15. Qb6 (Fritz prefers the immediate Nfxe4; I wanted to keep the Queen's on the board) and 16. Nd5, this doesnt gain a tempo on my Queen because I'm just going to trade it off (white can't keep his extra pawn, as the one on e4 will eventually die) and after Qxd5 (Fritz prefers exd5) 17. ...Bb7 and black's the one getting the extra tempo
18. Qd1 Rfd8 (picking up another move on the Queen and taking to d-file) 19. Rb1?? (hangs the Rook) and the game's pretty much over
but I still want to skip down to move 24. ...Nxe1. Though it's true that the Knight on d3 is powerful, I want to trade off the light squared bishops and white's other bishop leaving me with the better minor piece (the g7 bishop vs the Knight) and after 25. Nxe1 Bxg2 26. Kxg2 e4! (getting Fritz's seal of approval) you can truly see the point of my plan (though Fritz doesn't like my Nxe1) The g7 bishop has been unleashed and the e1 white knight is stuck

Nice show, Yug0slav, e4 is a very nice move.

One quick question though, after the move c5!? (which I really enjoyed) is white forced to return the pawn in every line or did nelson just miss it?

Your rating means nothing if you can't back it up by beating lower rated opponents.
Plus the game finished in a short amount of time, all of which you were posting on the forums.
"I can't be bothered playing these chumps" lol you aren't rated 2100 or anything. You act like you're Bobby Fischer or something.

Ok, here's a quick annotation of the CMS - Whirlpool game, I didn't post many lines, because it takes a lot of time to work out every line, I just wanted to post a couple of my thoughts and ideas from during the game and get your guys opinions. Enjoy. 🙂

1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Ng1f3 g5 - {Orthodox Defense, in my opinion blacks toughest
response to the KNG, white's three main options here are 4.h4 4.d4 and 4.Bc4, but
I chose 4.h4 aiming for the Kieseritzky Gambit}
4. h4 g4 5. Nf3e5 {Kieseritzky Gambit}
Ng8f6 {In my opinion 5...d6 seems to be the tougher move for white to deal with,
although 5...Nf6 is still strong and offers black chances for equality if white
doesn't play very accurately}
6. Bf1c4 d5!
7. exd5 Bf8d6 8. d4 O-O 9. Bc1xf4 Nf6h5 10. g3!
f6 11. Ne5xg4 Qd8e8
12. Ke1d2 Nh5xf4 13. gxf4 Qe8e4 {This was the last book move for me, but this move
seems strong, I can't give a fair objective opinion until I've looked further into this
line}
14. Kd2c3 Qe4xf4 15. Rh1f1?? {Terrible, an obvious blunder, a situation where I made the
move quickly without checking for threats - the number one cause for lost games, as this one
should be for white at this point. I prefer the move 15.Rg1 when white should have winning chances}
Qf4xg4??{Bxg4-+}
16. Rf1g1 Bd6g3 17. Qd1xg4 Bc8xg4 18. Rg1xg3 h5 19. d6+! {Discovered check to win a pawn and
create a dangerous passed pawn}
Kg8h7 20. dxc7 Nb8c6? +-{I don't get the idea, clearly white will play d5 here forcing black
to waste another tempo and allowing white to connect his passed pawns on thh c and d files}
21. d5 Nc6e7 22. d6 Ne7f5 23. Bc4d3?{Rd3 seems to win the game outright.}
Kh7h6 24. Bd3xf5 Bg4xf5 25. Rg3f3 Bf5g4 26. Rf3d3 Ra8c8 27. Nb1d2 {Looking at either Nc4 or Ne4,
planning to double the rooks, and developing the knight}
Bg4f5 28. Rd3d4 Rf8f7 29. Nd2c4 b5 30. Nc4e3 Bf5e6 31. Ra1d1 Rf7d7 32. b3 {For two reasons, first,
to block the bishop, and the other purpose is clear with my next move}
a5 33. Kc3b2!{Protecting the king from potential checks after Rxb7 and making the connected
passed pawns even more dangerous}
Be6g4? 34. Ne3xg4 hxg4 35. Rd4xg4 Kh6h5
36. Rg4e4 Kh5g6!{Because now if 37.Re7?? Rxe7 38.dxe7 Kf7!} 37. h5!{Black can't take or he loses,
if he chooses not to take it adds another passed pawn for him to defend against and is more than likely too
difficult for black to handle}
Kg6xh5?? {Losing immediately} 38. Re4e7 1-0

I never refuse any teaching, training, tips, lessons, etc. Ask anybody that's asked me for it.
If I were the rated lower than everybody else I'd understand why people wouldn't play me, but I'd work very hard to get better - I might even ask those higher rated players for lessons or advice - which I'd hope they offer as I do.
It's not like everybody accepts my challenges also, do you think if I challenged Akizy he would accept? Probably not. 1. It's not worth his time to prove to me that I don't have much chance against him. And 2.He doesn't seem like he wants to take on more games.
I've explained this plenty of times - call me a ratings-snob or whatever the hell else you can think of - I simply don't have time for more games against patzers that don't like my comments in my profile, it's me. You don't like it? Don't read it.
This is the FINAL time that I will go over this, I'm busy, I'm a junior in high school with finals coming up, I waste enough time (Clearly too much, as I have tonight. Why is it my duty to prove that I can beat up on 1300s?) making moves on this site. I simply can't afford to add more games against annoying patzers to make them feel good.
Ok, as I said before - I've made my point. If you don't like my stance on the issue of whether or not I accept challenges, then guess what, it doesn't make any difference to me and I don't think it ever will. If you're all cranky because you don't get to play against me, guess what, why don't you try challenging one of the other 15,000+ players on the site?
Ok, THAT IS THE LAST TIME I WILL GO OVER IT. If any more posts about my challenge settings is mentioned to me I will ignore it. Please, STAY ON TOPIC.

Once again, there's a topic, find it, stay on it, leave me the hell alone about my challenge settings. I don't give you crap about your choices, do I?
