Doesnt Nf3 lead to an exchange of queens that leaves us unable to castle, and our king exposed after:

Fianchettoing our bishop supports an e4 advance later and move us towards castling. I don't like having the bishops locked up and useless like they are now.

do you just have chessmaster running all the time? Or can you save games? or do you insert the FEN every time? Sorry I'm not up to speed on PC engines. Haven't had a game since chessmaster 4000 and I was a bit too young to know what it all meant anyway.

8. E3 .... . I expected ChessMaster to play 7. .... Bg4. ChessMaster is close to the middle game.

Looking at the position, I'm starting to question our strategy right about now. We have to find a way to castle the next few moves or we are in big trouble. I'm also geting a fishy feeling that CM might sacrefice on the e4 square. I don't see anything there really, and maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but a machine thinking 1 hour a move can surely see long 10 move tactics here. We have two choices here IMHO, g3 or e3, we have to develop that bishop immediately and castle kingside, no choice really, g3 is a strange kinda Sicilian Dragon reversed, and e3 looks like a strange Sicilian Scheninghan Reversed.
