'Better' in what sense? More appealing to a juvenile's idea of wit, perhaps.

If you want an anagram, try Tacitus. Oh wait...that's way too erudite πŸ™„

I had assumed the discourse amongst the highest ranked players on these boards would be more amiable and respectful. Instead we get this.

The chess players in your universe are amiable and respectful?

Edit: Most are, of course. But some chess players are also very good at unbelievably petty real-life bickering, of the sort that would make the discussions here seem rather tame by comparison.

I just accept it as a facet of the chess playing personality, and enjoy the games.

You mean the number 1 player here is a GIRL!
Its funny that 'top dog' has a positive ring but 'top bitch' is negative.OK, could be different in New Zealand.
Well done Ms Skeeter.

Now where did I see skeeter's avatar? Aha, here:
http://www.chess.com/echess/profile/Zubrea

That guy is apparently a CC GM, Mihai Breazu, who lives now in New Zealand. On chess.com he closed his account for fear he will be banned for cheating (and there were very good reasons to suspect that).

By the way, if skeeter is a she, why she is not invited to play for New Zealand olympic team? The best women player that country has is apparently only 2033 FIDE, which should be at least 300 points below skeeter.
