But our scores will be settled soon my friend 😉
..just makes it fun because in every game you have lost to me, you have messaged me on how you have the advantage..

I wouldn't say 'the' advantage.. just 'a' advantage.. I like talking about the games as they're played.

On the other hand a little bit of overconfidence never hurt anyone 😛

back to the point..I like Lasker...he has his own sacrifice....not many can say that.

Best player cannot go to any single individual as you can only consider cycles or generations. Fischer is not untouchable because he did not defend his title and chickened out against Karpov.

Tal was his own sacrifice... he'd invent stuff as he went. Not many can say that either.

Tal who? I agree with Symlov when he said Tal just uses tricks...or Korchnoi for saying "Tal is an average player"

I assume they said this immediately after losing to him?

Doesn't look average to me.

Or how about this game... the game immediately before Korchnoi is quoted saying that...

Go Tal!

Go Tal!
again...look at the Tal's over-all score to Korchnoi...Tal's tricks didn't help him that much.

Not many people that could use overall score as an arguement against Tal. I'd say that Tal was the better player, if not the best to ever play. Move by move he may not of been best, but he could put games together like he was painting a portrait.

Then why did Smyslov could do nothing against Tal`s trick in Pretendent tournament 1959? Opinion of Korchnoi is obviously subjective and based only on his good results against Tal.

I can say for sure: If there were so many talanted players which did not become world champion, then players who could do it definetly were not average. And its well-known that Tal was one of the most talented world champions.

I have heard about that they have calculated the ELO-rating on every historical famus chess player. The one that got the highest rating was Rubinstein. I beleive that he could have been one of the best.....
