The stated purpose of Fort Detrick is to do research into biological weapons defence as well as research into defending against natural outbreaks such as the current pandemic. According to the rather old source below there are eight countries suspected of having biological weapons. It is therefore necessary to be able to defend against them.

How do you know it is natural?

SARS killed more men than women and it killed Asians more than other races. Russian Biologist and Former U.N. Expert Igor Nikulin said this about C19:

No government would ever admit they are testing a bioweapon virus or let it escape from a lab. It is as if you expect honesty from the pentagon. Do you really expect them to admit it?

Shouldn't you welcome a slower population growth by the culling of a small percentage of the population? Fewer people means less CO2 going into the atmosphere. Isn't this a convenient solution for your AGW problem?

Anybody can get infected, but once they do more Asians die than other races. It isn't a big difference, but it is there. I believe SARS was even more so. SARS killed more men than C19 too.

If Sergei Kolesnikov was correct when he claimed SARS was made in a lab they are testing the results of their genetic tweeking. C19 is less deadly, but more contagious. It doesn't kill as many men disproportionately than SARS did. It doesn't kill Asians as disproportionately as SARS did either.

If SARS and C19 are man made and they are using the planet as their testing ground, C19 is their contagious test. They were able to get a long incubation period so people would be contagious and not even know they were infected without testing. Pretty impressive if that is what they did.

If SARS and C19 are natural it is lousy luck to get a new coronavirus that is as contagious as it is.

Actually here's another theory: The virus was not man-made, is not natural, and it came from space.
Those legendary ancient Aliens have returned and decided to take back Earth using a method that will cause least destruction to our infrastructure.

Now I hope I'm wrong, because if I'm right we might as well kiss all our assets goodbye.

it's also absurd to believe that all people are the same. When will the rest of the world wake up and smell the coffee? The USA is the greatest nation on Earth because we have the most rich, educated, healthy men ...and the only language should be English and the only currency the US Dollar !

What evidence? Saying something is likely is not really evidence. I posted an article from the journal nature that makes it clear there is no conclusive evidence it came from bats.
