Indeed the Bible tells us to test prophesies.
So I challenge you to set forth a clear Thesis what will happen when and we will test.
No omnious smokeshields please.
Most people unfamiliar with the Book of Daniel make the mistake of thinking that the unsealing is a prophecy in and of itself, that the interpretation must include some further prophecy.
An angel assisted Daniel in sealing the Book, and so it has been that an angel is assisting unsealing it.
Lucky for you.

Remember the number of times a prophecy prophecized the end of the world. Hasn't happen yet.

We start to see a definite pattern there; just not the pattern they want us to see.
There was once some people (don't remember who) who said the world will end at time X and then, when it appeared to us it didn't, they said the world HAD ended! Just like they said it would all along! And if we don't know about it then that's just our problem! Don't know exactly how they can reconcile that with the evidence of their senses nor how we can be expected to believe them.

This link proves that prophecies isn't much better than any astrology. Why pretend?
I can foretell and put a prophecy that it will be sunny tomorrow! (The prophecy ministerium aka meteorological institute, said so.)
So skip the idea that prophecies are science. They're not! Even if they are postulated in the bronze age.

Originally posted by @sonhouseRight. The same goes for other kind of prophecies. You cannot foretell the future unless you use statistical methods and probability.

From where did you get your misinformation? From the book of Daniel/Denial??
You need to look at the facts and then ask yourself the same question I do . . . is a ca. 50 meter sized rock travelling at supersonic speed approximately 2.7 million miles away capable of igniting a volatile atmosphere as more than one person (at different times in history) has foretold on this year's northern hemisphere's winter solstice. (?)
Keep in mind that the build-up of nitrous di-oxide is invisible to the naked eye.

Is this from the Book of Daniel?
The Countdown to the Day of the Lord is stand alone as regards the interpretation of the four-digit numbers in / from the Book of Daniel, however, much like 'rider' clauses, other prophecies may apply.
