Yep. I can make a post while running the beta php5...!
Yes Wheely, I can recommend and edit too. Please say something nasty, so I can see if alert works too.

If you are a non-sub, the ads will not render (it will say 'Internal Server Error' where the ads should be)

Don't worry about this - this is to be expected and is not a problem.

I've tested everything I can think of so far and it all seems to work.
One thing that is different is "This thread is closed" appearing on the page when you search for forum posts by a member.

One thing I haven't felt comfortable about trying is subscribing.

I also tried going from the "player recently active" link at the bottom of "My games" and then to the "password reminder" link. I never received any e-mail but I then tried it on the real RHP and it didn't work there either. Could have not worked for ages, could be a mail thing, dunno.

Recieved:

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /var/www/redhotpawn.com/board/forummod/forummodcommon.php on line 37"

when attempting to post in Thread 33578. I tried posting a second time and it apparently took (my post is there) but instead of taking me to my post (as is normal) I was taken to the forum list page.

Russ, I'm not sure if this is a problem:

I went to post in a thread in the General Forum, and it wouldn't let me because apparently I wasn't logged in anymore. I never clicked on the 'log out' button, and I didn't do anything that I normally wouldn't do.

Okay, now I have a more significant and fixable problem.

I received this when I clicked on 'Volunteers' in the Site Map area.

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /var/www/redhotpawn.com/comhub/volunteers.php on line 9

When I looked at the 'Recommended Posts' section under 'Forums', I noticed that it said, "This thread is now closed." I'm not sure if this is something new that you've implemented, but I brought it up anyways.

Fixed this one now, thanks.

I won't be able to duplicate this easily, so do let me know if this happens repeatedly.

Same here.
